My senior illustration thesis “Too Born for Intelligence” is an experimental animation told through six 3D-printed and programmed rotary flipbooks. Blending my love for animation with the tender intimacy of children’s books, Too Born for Intelligence visually unfolds one of my short stories. Inspired by zoetropes, kinetoscopes, and phenakistoscopes, the process of viewing becomes just as curious as what you see. It ran from May 01-18 at Parsons School of Design Kellen and Aronson Galleries.
